Our most popular, fun, and successful fundraisers so far have been our Westie events, such as the Westie Walks held in various locations through the country since 2000. In 2002, we added another fun event called the Westie Highland Games in Edmonton.

WRC have and will continue to hold events in AB, and NS, and hopefully other provinces in the future.

Last year, the Toronto Westie Walk exceeded our expectations! There were 148 Westies, and it was our most successful walk in Canada since we starting holding the Westie Walk and Westie Highland Games fundraisers. We are very proud to announce that our Toronto Westie Walk was the largest Westie Walk in Canada!

In addition, other groups and individuals hold events and donate the proceeds to WRC. The Annual Vancouver Westie Walk is an example of one such event. The Vancouver Westie Walk committee have been very generous and supportive to WRC since we launched in 1999. This year, the Toronto Westie Walk will be generously donating a portion of the funds raised to WRC.
